Message: when i accelerate with my truck it makes a confusing ticking noise almost right under the drivers side door. it sounds like a chain slipping or slopping around in there or something. i can only hear it when i accelerate. it doesnt make the 'ticking' when its in 4-wheel drive. has anyone ever had this happen? Or does someone know what it could be? U-joints, transmission, transfer case???
