A buddy of mine has given me a line loc unit and it got me wondering if they can be used with a rear wheel ABS system.

if you only have Rear ABS, then yes it can work because the rear brakes run off of one hydaulic line and the front brakes work off of a second. You'll just have to work with the line for the front brakes, just be sure to put it after the splitter.
they will not work on 4 wheel ABS or cars with diagonal brake systems... with out heavy modifications.
