Subject: fun day off (monday, tues) IP: Logged
Message: well ill start on monday, i planned to crank my t-bars(got an inch) but before that I noticed my passenger side mirror got broke(the housing)when i went to move, how i don't know, looks like something landed on top of it or ran into it, i sm going with the guess the owl landed on it i hear every night,
today, i find a fender at the junkyard off a 87 4-cyclinder dakota, so i buy it and pull it off easy, then i get home and try to pull my messed up fender off, i got the tweaked bumper off, easy i think, next i try to get the fender off, all the top and front bolts come off, but then i get to the inner fender bolts, i come to find salt got to the fender where it ataches to the inner fender, so i couldn't get 3 screws out, they would just spin in there hole, so i long story short i ended up ripping 3 holes out of the inner fender and tweaking it, so i guess i am going to sand it down and primer it, then tweeak it back at best as i can, then ill use washers on the ripped out holes.
how does that sound for a fun day off

Message: maybe it would have sounded better if you had proper grammer, instead of that jibberish you wrote down.

Message: Sounds like everything went well and you had a good time. These corrosion issues are always a pain in the behind. Glad I don't don't live in salt country.
As for your grammer, I don't much care. I understood what you meant, and I'm not an english professor.

Message: well, the grammer was my fault, i was using my laptop, which I suck at typing on.
as for the corrosion, it was just rotted in the inside of my DS fender, but the inner fender was good(minis 3 ripped out holes), which i was happy about.
I got the fender installed , now my next list of things to do is replace F/R bumper, fix the rott in rear fenders, and 2 Matching Mirrors then the body will be straight minus paint.
then i'll mve on to the suspinsion, which i am seriously planning on doing a SAS, i just want other things straigh before i tackle that.
Ain't bad so far for a $800(+50 ds fender and $30 for 4x vac switch)
88 DAKOTA 4x4 SE 3.9l v6(top end rebuilt, 147k), A-500 tranny np231 t-case.
oh yeah
as for the interior, it is pretty much straight. i just need to fix the sagging headlinner and seat upholstrey, which i'll probally just toss a cool seat cover on, or replace with bucket seats.
