 Subject: 2001 Serpintine Belt Problems

I have replaced the waterpump, tensioner, and belt on my 2001 Dakota v6.
The belt keeps riding on the front edge of the cam pulley. This eats a belt in a few minutes.
Everyone is stumped.
I need suggestions.

Did you check the pulleys with a straight edge to see if one is out of alignment ? Is there really a pulley called the "cam" pulley ? The cam I'm aware of is driven internally.
