Message: thanks daddio! just bought a '53 buick special summer before last, all it needed was a condensor and points (cause the idiot "dusted" the engine off and broke the condensor wire) and don't have the time for it. it runs! all body is straight! interior is starting to rot, just needs paint. its all complete, still on 6volt system.
i'll try the site, thx again!!

Message: you're welcome. in fact here is another site that's geared more towards the classics than performance: http://buicks.net. good luck!

Message: Hey NEW_SOL,
My brother-in-law's business is all about Buicks (specializing in pre 1960). I'm sure he can give you expert advice (parts, too) concerning your Buick. I can pass you his contact information if you want it. eMail me if this is something you'd need.

Message: I think years ago it was 15 years old for classic status, and 25 for antique - has that changed ? Seems funny when you see a muscle car with antique plates.

Message: kowalski, you're right, i just didn't consider my '78 a classic. it's gonna be more of a custom when i'm finished. and a muscle car does look funny with antique plates.

Message: Yeah, I'm with you there - kind of hard for me to think of anything built after '72 as a classic; maybe I'm just dating myself...
