I have noticed from a week of running my truck on the high performance setting, that I have gotten better mileage than without the superchips application.

right now, currently I have 250 miles on my 20 gallon tank, 93 octane, I have a quarter left, I hope to get another 50 to 70 miles on this tank.

most of this is highway driving, 20 miles or less, some of this is city driving.

so far so good, but, to end this experiement, I will put my truck on the 87 octane setting, and run a tank of 87 and see if I can get better mileage.

it wouldn't hurt to hear what mileage others are getting.

With my MP chip in my 92' 5.2 I noticed a small increase in gas mileage. From low 11's city to mid 12's.

Just remember, doing mods to save money on gas isn't as simple as it seems. Say we're talking about going 250 miles week and you've been getting 18 mpg. If you can increase that to 20 mpg with the Superchips, then you'll save about $4.40 a week on gas assuming a price of $3.19 a gallon for 87 right now. If you assume the Superchips cost you $350, then it would take you almost 20,000 miles before you are ahead because of gas mileage savings.

Do your mods for performance and consider the gas mileage a secondary benefit.

I was able to get a little over 300 miles on that tank,

which isn't bad, and it comes out to 15 miles per gallon.

I saw the "slight" increase in Mpg also but with gas prices skyrocketing like that have, I had to go back to the SC 87 octane program since I cannot afford to sign my whole paycheck over to the gas station just to fill my tank. My preferred local gas station prices 93 octane at $3.29 per gallon. Thankfully I only work 9 miles from home now.

In fact I started driving my wife's Durango because it gets better milage than my Dakota; it also has 96k less miles on it too.
