I made the switch to Amsoil univ. ATF.
My M-I-L helped. She did the starting/stopping of the engine during the flush.
She said the Amsoil ATF smelled like cat piss.
I don't think it smelled like cat piss, but it does have a very peculiar odor that I can't describe.
I can detect some plastic smell, but that may be the bottle.
So, what do you guys think it smells like?

A lot of people I know say it smells burnt fresh out of the bottle. Works great though.
