 Subject: Leather Steering wheel

OK the kid wanted to wash the 99 Dak and cleaned the steering wheel. Well the darn thing transfers the black to the hands now while driving. Seems to have lost its patina. Any suggestions.

If the cleaning solution was more than mild soap and water, you might try giving the wheel a good wipedown with just water. Get a cloth very wet and try to gently clean the residual cleaning solution off (or out) of it.
