Subject: What Tires to use? IP: Logged
Message: I have a 99, and I have 31's on it right now. I turned the tires all the way one way, and saw a lot of room left...Could I use 32's without ANY rubbing? Just wondering...

Message: Should be able to. I put 32's on my '00 without any rubbing at all. I tweaked the T-bars about 1.5" and, after that I had about 1/4" of space between my tire and the fender when turning. After BL though I really want 33's But the 32's dont look bad. Just gotta wait til I have money to really play with or my tires need to be replaced. Too bad I just bought them a couple thousand miles ago though.

Message: About an 1.5" I've read people getting about 2" but I just did enough to fit my 32's

Message: I'm thinking about getting BF A/T's, 32X10.5XR15. I have 31's on it right now. Does anyone know if those would affect my gas milleage any compared to the 31's.
I had gone to that tire calculator, but I was wanting to know about gas mil...Thanks

Message: Adam,
did you tweak your Tbars before or after you put on the 32s? And did you have to do anything with the rear end?
Thanks for your time,
Mac

Message: Sorry took so long my comp died so no internet connection. I tweaked my T-Bars before I put on the 32's. I did it to even out the front with the rear so no I didn't do anything to the rearend. Hope that helps.
