Subject: noise turning right IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2004 QC 4X4 and when I turn right there is a sound that at first sounded like cavitation in the power steering pump, but I don't think it is that far down in the system. It kind of sounds like a rubber squeak sound but in more of a popping rhythm. I checked and some posts talk about bad clock springs and one even stated rack & pinion replacement. It only happens turning right and only when the vehicle is in motion. Any one else having this issue or any thoughts? The truck is under warranty, but I hate dealing with service guys...

Message: I'd almost rather never take a right turn again as deal with the service department at a car dealership!
