I just found out I have a code 1494 and these are the problems I have had.Ok heres my problem. I have a 2001 Quad Cab 3.9L V6 automatic and I am getting some engine rev and shift sputtering. The thing is its only doing it when I refuel. Yesterday I was down below an 1/8 and my light come on and today it was driving fine, like new. I went and got gas and now its doing the same thing again. It seems like its trying to shift and its reving up and Im losing power like its clogged somewhere. I tried changing the plugs, oil, air filter, fuel injector cleaner, fuel line antifreeze nothing is working. Anyone got any ideas? Someone said it might be my fuel pump but I only have 64,000 miles+. Also my tire treads are low and I need an alignment but I dont think that would cause this.

1494 is the LDP. Check your evap lines for cracks and replace the fuel filler cap. Don't over fill the tank. As soon as the pump shuts off, you're done fuelling. Don't try to jasm every last drop into the tank that you can.
