Subject: Water in cab - carpet soaked IP: Logged
Message: This is my frist time visting this forum and my first post, but I'm hoping someone can lead me in the right direction.
My dad's 2002 Dakota SLT V8 is letting water (or condensation from the A/C system) into the cab and is soaking the carpet.
Is this a common issue and you can lead me directly to the source? Otherwise, any ideas? We're going to take the seats and carpet out next weekend and then run the garden hose over it to hopefully find the problem. Any ideas where to look would be great!

Message: It's a common problem...last I heard, it was from the a/c. Supposedly buying a 90* elbow and rerouting the tubing from the a/c lines underneath the passenger side floorboard, should fix the problem right up. Cheap fix.
