Subject: 1999 Misses Out IP: Logged
Message: I have a 1999 5.2 with 114000 miles that misses and no one can find the reason why. I've had it to a repair shop twice with no luck. All I get from them is that it doesn't show up on their machine.
I've replaced the plugs, the wires, drained & flushed the tranny and have had most of the front end replaced.
I love the pickup but I'm close to getting rid of it for this reason. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Message: i got the same truck as you.. and what do you mean as misses??
Mine does something like that, aka when you give it gas it stalls a
little bit, and gurgles around till you get in the higher rpm range
then its fine? Explain more about your problem in detail... then i
can help, cuz i know what my problem was...

Message: Kinda hard to explain other than you can feel it at around 45 to 50 mile an hour with hardly any load put on it. If I kick it in the ass, there is no miss, if it idles there is no miss and driving 70/75mph there is no miss (at least I can't feel it). I drive into town and slow down to 50 then you feel it.
