Depends what your definition of "a lot" is. I had a factory AM/FM/Cassette when I bought my 01 Dak used. Went to HH Gregg and paid a grand total of 99 dollars for a new Pioneer AM/FM/CD, INSTALLED!!! Bargains are out there, just look around. No need to worry about fit, they'll work it.

If you really want to have the original stocker back in your truck then the only way to cut down in cost is to check out either e-bay or go to a boneyard and see if you can find one, otherwise get an aftermarket deck.

My truck looks like it was in a knife fight, and lost! http://www.cardomain.com/ride/1275365
