Subject: Moog Ball joints =JUNK! IP: Logged
Message: I have a 98 Dak 2wd and in the last 3 months I've changed lower balljoints twice and now it needs new ones again. Anyone else having that problem?
Where can I get lifetime warranty ones and who makes them?
Thanks
Blaine

Message: if you're blowing through ball joints that fast, you need to check out other aspecs of your suspension... something is causing them to wear out.
... and the moog ball joints i bought were lifetime replacement

Message: I coulda sworn my Moogs were lifetime also. That and ive never heard of them being junk. You sure you really got Moogs there or did the shop just tell ya they put Moogs in?! If youre really not happy, you could try TRW balljoints. I hear they are good too.

Message: TRW is OEM equipment on Dodges and are the ones that are falling apart. I would stay WAY clear of those. I don't think Moogs are "junk", but I will say that I don't think that they are as good as they used to be. Like most things these days, quality goes out the window in favor of quantity and higher profit.

Message: Would the lifetime warranty from MOOG cover the boots? Because one of the boots on my MOOG ball joints is torn and I would just as well prefer to replace the boot.
