Subject: oil pressure IP: Logged
Message: I have a 1994 Dodge Dakota truck, v6 3.9 engine.
The engine overheated and I lost oil pressure.
The engine runs but in a couple minutes the oil
light comes on and the oil pressure gauge drops.
There is no oil in water and no water in oil.
There is no smoke or rapping noise.
please help.

Message: I'm going to take a stab at this one. I had a similar problem, only my motor didn't overheat but the oil pressure dropped way down to ZERO.
I ran some Motor FLush through it on someone's advice. It dissolved thecrud blocking the oil pump pick up screen and it started running PERFECTLY.
For $2.95 and an oil change -- it might be worth a try.
