Message: Seems the pre-2001 Daks had the problem of them even coming off while washing them (more so when going thru a car wash). My friend has a 2000 Dak and bought them for 23 bucks each at the local dealer. He glued them on so they wouldn't come off.

Message: the only problem with gluing them on is, the next punk that tries to steal them will muff up your rim trying to pry them off......

Message: Doubt a thief would be prepared for glued on caps > reguardless, I use A small amount of silicon in a tube > It's not enough to slow a theif down but will keep them from damaging the wheels > Doing this does keep them in place during a wash and also hitting a bad bump
