Subject: No turn signals front or rear? IP: Logged
Message: I was towing my boat home from the lake last night and came over the crest of a hill. There was a deer laying in the middle of the road,i didnt have time to stop and had to run it over. I pulled over right after that and turned on my hazards but they didnt work. I then tried my turn signals no turn signals. Unplugged the trailer harness from the boat when I got home still no signals on the truck. I have brake lights tho?
Got under there and theres no wiring harness damage or anything looks fine? Checked No.16 fuse in the cab it looked fine. Im baffled? Help Please........

Message: Ty --
Check the trailer relay in the relay box under the hood, just behind the battery. I can't remember which number but it's listed on the underside of the box cover. I'm 99% sure that's your problem; had the same thing 2 months ago.
Let us know.

Message: the big gray doohicky near your left foot. It has a bolt holding the two halves together. Loosen the bolt, try to separate the halves and put it all back together.
I had the same problem and that appeared to fix it. I haven't had the problem since January.

Message: yeah sorry about that, i read too fast and it didn't register that your truck signals weren't working either. i bet it's that hazard relay though.
i'm curious as to how you get by without a trailer relay. without mine, i don't get trailer signals or running lights, only brake lights. are you saying the slot is empty or that there is no slot at all? might as well plug one in, see what happens. it is only a $2 part. i dunno.
