Subject: lost wheel lock key IP: Logged
Message: fellaz, I've lost my wheel lock key. How can I get this wheel lock off? Yes, I've been told that wheel shops have tools to remove it. However, I'm looking to do it myself if possible. See the pic for the wheel lock.

Message: A BFH and a socket that will fit on the outside of the nut.Pound that f-cker on and then get your rachet and take it off.By the way it totals the nut so you'll have to replace it.....Goodluck

Message: go to a plumbing supply place, Home Depot, Lowe's, Menards, etc. and get a wrench for tightening up faucets from under the sink, I don't remember what they are called but it will grab hold of the outside of the nut and do a very nice job of removing the nut, however, due to it's design it will damage the outside of the nut. The tool is a "T" handle design and has a spring loaded 'grabber' on the opposite end that tightens on the nut by itself when the wrench is twisted.
