 Subject: Trip odometer not in sync

Since changing to 33 inch tires the 2 trip odometers (one in dash and one in overhead console) do not match. Yes I reset them at exactly the same time while sitting motionless.
The truck is a 2004 QC 4x4 4.7 V8.
I had the dealer reset the pinion factor for the tires based on the rotations per mile that Interco gave me.
Any idea if the 2 odometers read their info off of different sensors? Can this problem be fixed?
I'm sure someone else here has a 2004 w/ 33's and the overhead console.
