my 1993 dodge dakota started giving me brake problems. antilock and e brake light come on and go off. easy brakeing doesnt trigger the lights but decent pressure both lights will come on and stay on. i can reset these lights by firmly pressing brake pedal all the way down then letting off. when the pedal comes all the way back up i press lightly and both lights go off. i have recently done caliper rotors pads up front same on the rear drums. just did master cylinder too. maybe sensor in rear diff. but reading some other peoples message dont think its the problem because my speedometer works. any ideas plz.

Check your brake fluid levels? It may be a bit low if the lights go on under hard brake pressure.

If changing the sensor doesn't help lee, sounds
like you still may have air in the system.

Good luck...

I have got a 1999 dakota and the ABS and BRAKE lights stay on. And when I noticed the lights I also noticed the speedometer does not work from 0-35mph. Whould this be the rear speed sensor on the rearend housing?
