i hear alot of talk about a bad resistor pack for the blower motor. seems to be pretty common, my blower will not work on the lowest setting but the rest are fine. however,my problem is volume??? seems like the air is pretty cold coming out of the vents(30*),but it just does'nt seem to be blowing to hard (no pun intended)!!! when i got it on high, it acts like it is on medium compared to another car????....would a bad resistor effect the pressure or volume??? or maybe does someone make an aftermarket blower motor?????thanks.....2001 cc...

resistor pack would ONLY effect lower speeds due to it being inline with the motor. The lower the speed, the more inline resistor (coils) in series with the motor. High speed is direct connection to the motor windings.
Silly and cheap way they make these blowers multi speed. Always thought it was dumb and they still use them today.
