I know this is a Dodge board and i do have a 2004 Dakota but i thought id ask .....I have a 1994 Ford Tempo with a 2.3 and manual shift and im getting black smoke every so often when it starts and durring the other 3 seasons other than summer it acts like its not getting enough gas (or too much) but it doesn't smoke like its flooded when it finally starts.....i changed the TPS, checked for vaccuum leaks and did find one did a complete tune up (plugs, cap, rotor, wires , filters etc)
im starting to think maybe the O2 sensor, Is that possable. Is there a sure fire way i can check (it is a 1 wire sensor) because a new one is $120.00 which i think is kinda expensive for a guess. Thanks in advance
