 Subject: Will 87 front end fit on 91 body ?

I've been looking for parts for my front end and I'm unsure what years will interchange... The Sticker inside drivers door says 91 so which year models would work with this I'm needing the hood radiator support, radiator, fenders, grille etc... any help would be AWESOME thanks in advance......AC

As far as I know the radiator and fenders from '87-96 will swap. The fender, hood, grille, and front bumpers are different from the original flatnose model. Those spares will come from '91-'96.

i forgot to ask if your truck is v6 or v8, if its v8 you,ll have alot less room for the fan and may have to use a electric fan

It's a v8 what will this affect...? But I went to the salvage yard and the guys looked it up in his book the fenders & hood will work for the 91 it's off a dakota sport w/v6 but the only difference in the 91 front end is the plastic headlights no

No, the hood will not work. It'll bolt on, but it's different. For 1991, Mopar extended the nose a few inches to accommodate the V8 with engine-driven fan. The hood is longer to fit this extension. The grille is angled out, and the bumper and hood angle out to match. They still tie in to the same fenders. If you go with the flat front end, and plan on running the stock radiator, you will have to use the electric fan mounted in front of the radiator just like Carrol Shelby did with the 318-powered Dakotas from 1989 (made 1500 of them). There's just not enough room to do anything else with the stock setup.
