I was driving by a dealer today and saw a black '97 dak with the 5.2, 4x4, and extended cab, 40,000 miles for $16,000 (is that a good price?).
Pretty much the exact truck that i'm looking for. So I stopped by and took it out for a drive and fell in love with it. But of course my college life is taking away all my money so I wont be able to buy it. The dealer kinda laughed at me when I offered a straight up trade with my 1990 Honda CRX, no questions asked. But it was fun while it lasted. Only one more year and i'll be able to afford one.

I'd wait too and $16K is a bit high. By the time you graduate their will be newer, better, etc. stuff too.
FYI, I got a brand new '01, 4x4, club cab, SLT plus, etc. for $19,500 (includes the $2K in rebates + $500 if you have farm bureau insurance).
