 Subject: adding a deck

I have a 97 dakota with the infinity sound system. When I added a new deck to the truck everything works but nothing comes out of the speakers. Do I have to buy high frequency add ins for the speaker lines?

Did you hook up the blue wire off the deck to the wire harness to turn on the factory amp??
