Message: I just got a 92 Dodge Dakota and thought the upper ball joint on the drivers side was broken but Now I've taken it appart and that's not the problem sooo I'm looking for suggestions as to where to look I can turn completely to the left but it hangs up going to the right this truck had hit a pole pretty good so if anybody has any suggestions please let me know........ could the problem be in the front axle for the 4wd and if I was to remove the axle tempoariliy would this damage anything ......? Thinking this may be part of the problem .....

Message: measure it very carefully to specs; it might be twisted out of line even if it has been "repaired"

Message: mine was tie rods. check all steering components before you mess with the axle.
