I bought a hood and headers from someone on this site and never got them. I paid on May 13 and the last time I heard from him was about 5 weeks ago. He still has not shipped the stuff and wont respond to my emails. His name on here was DC_PITTS. I'm not trying to start problems but I don't know what else to do. I don't like throwing away that kind of money. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

Was it a company or a private individual?
Either way, if you can prove you paid for something and they can't prove they shipped it, you will get your money back.

It was an individual. I paid through paypal but how would I get my money back. They only protect the buyer for ebay auctions I thought.

Paypal can help to some extent, but there are time constraints. You may still have time, but it is iffy. Also if your paypal was funded by a CC, you may have a recourse there. Call both of them today and start the process. If you wait too long you lose your right to dispute a charge. You may also consider contacting the local police department as well. I did that a couple years ago on a fraudulent Yahoo auction. Eventually got my money back via Paypal, but it took some time.

If the two of you are not in the same state, contact the local FBI field office and file a complaint. Since he used the WWW to rip off somebody out of state it mail fraud and is a federal rap. The FBI can very easily track down this scum bag and shut down his fraud racket.
He's left a trail of IP logs a mile long that means it will take about 10 minutes to find his house.
If he's in the same state as you call the state police. It's still fraud but because it may not have crossed state lines, it's no longer a federal case.

I had the same problem with a dick head down in So Cal ........ Paypal finally got my money back after 2 months. Get Paypal involved and be prepared to wait........
