Subject: Keeps dieing, HELP! IP: Logged
Message: Today when I was coming home from work, my Dak died 4 times in 18 miles. While cruising at 55MPH it feels like a tranny brake hits for just about a second. This happens about every 10 seconds. Also when I got off the highway and stopped so did my engine. I cranked it about 6 times and it restarted but idled a little rough. I got to the next light and it died again, etc...
Got it home, put it in park and it ran with a little rough idle. I have replaced about everything on the engine about a month ago and it ran fine till today. Its 103 degrees out and im not overheating. Only codes I get are 12 and 55. New plugs, wires, dist cap and rotor, exhaust manifold, TB, cam, RRs, pushrods, waterpump, piston rings, and lots more. Please help, I am stumped.

Message: Well today I replaced the plugs, had bosch +2 Plats. 4 of the six had the middle electrode melted back into the porcelin. Replaced with Autolite. I also replaced the IAC valve, it was bad, but not the problem. Engine just dies all at once, almost seems like someone is turning the key off.
