Message: Hello - 1998 Dakota 4.4 5.2L, 115k.
Took truck in to have brakes checked. Rear drum grabs/ locks bad when starting driving - then quickly goes. I figured the drums were worn. I also asked them to replace missing screws holding on my factory fender flares.
First warning sign - $47 for 5 new screws!!! Talk about getting screwed!!! 'There's no part # for the screws.. we have to find them... that's a half hour labor'.
Next - 'Your front caliper is hanging up'. The front brakes are just fine. So then they check the rears - couldn't see anything wrong. I ended up telling them not to do anything else. They're getting $340 for a lube and tranny service and smog as it is =0(
