Subject: got 32s! IP: Logged
Message: I got some 32x1150R15 BFGs put on my 99 Dakota 4x4 today. I only have minor rubbing at full turn with no lift and without cranking my torsion bars. Hooray! There are only two drawbacks. First it takes longer for my truck to stop. Second, now I can't look out the window at all the hotties driving around this university town. All I see are the tops of cars now!!

Message: U get the Mud Terrain or the All terrains? I wanted the Mud Terrains but couldn't afford them so I just went with what I could afford.

Message: Another drawback you may experience is that your speedo now indicates a tad lower than before. Actual MPH will be higher than indicated MPH.

Message: Not only does it take longer to stop, but it'll also take longer to get going...totally worth it IMO.

Message: I got the all terrains. I never go off road anyway. I get the 4x4 so I can drive in inclement weather conditions. I know about the speedometer issue.. I warned my wife already but I know she will still nag me for going 'under the speed limit.' Now I'm thinking about doing a modest lift to my truck!

Message: Curiosity question, lookitme.
Where do the tires rub? Is it on the frame, fenders, fender skirts? I'm looking at putting that size Goodrich All-terrain T/A (KO) on mine, too.

Message: I have 32 inch all terrains, on my 2001 Dak CC 4x4, and I really didn't feel much power loss, It felt the same,
I can still Bark the Tires Good Hitting 3rd @ 50 Mph.
I like the tires alot, they grab awfully well. they don't rub that much at all, and I too do not have a lift, and I havn't cranked the T-bars.
I have 32inch Wide Climbers, The new Sidewinder Tread.
it is pretty aggressive for an AT, and they wear really well, I only rotated them once so far, and I have had them for 2 years, they still have good tread.

Message: The 32x11.5R15's rub on the front inside of the tire, on the frame. It's only a little, and it's only at a full turn. When-ever I am turning that sharp, I am going so slow anyway that a little rubbing is ok.

Message: What size rims do you have 15x7 or 15x8? Are they the stock rims?

Message: I have stock 15x7 alloys. Nothing fancy. If I had the dough I would do a lift, get some black rims and get the 33s installed with black letters out.
