 Subject: Multi-Function Switch

My 02 just started having this problem when I put the right turn signal on the hazard lights flash. I was told by the dealer it was the multi-function switch. Part= 52.00 Install would be 135.00.
I think the switch is under the steering column cover. Can anyone tell me how to replace it? I would rather do it myself.

better spend 20 bucks and get a Haynes or Chilton repair manual.
