Message: I have a 97 4x4 5.2L sport and I had the plenum gasket done about 2 weeks ago and I put new autolite spark plugs and semi synthetic oil in it. Ever since then my mileage has droped from about 16/17 mpg on the highway to about 13/14 mpg.
would any of these things have an effect on my mileage???? Any input would be great
Thanks

Message: check to make sure that you havent left a plug wire ajar, or recieved a faulty wire... youll need some plastic pliers... with the engine running pull off one plug wire at a time and listen to the engine... you should hear a difference when you pull a wire off.. you could also wet down your wires, coil, and distributor pack/coil pack and look for arking... i know new wires shouldn't ark but ive seen it a few times now so youre best off to check... the expensive mopar wires are worth the extra money. and DO NOT put BOSH / NIEHOFF wires on your truck... the are garbage.. ive sent back multiple sets
