Subject: Rear end bouncing IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2000 QC 4.7 3.55 rearend. When I apply brakes it has a bounce in the rear end that is driving me nuts.I have also noticed that it is making a whining noise in the rear end when turning. This truck has been great up to this point and only has 33,000 miles on it.Has anyone else had these kinds of problems?I hope I have the 7/70,000 warranty. Thanks Ken

Message: Sounds like a seized rear brake that's also warped the drum , to me.

Message: Or you have too much air pressure or bad shocks. Does it do the same thing when loaded or towing?

Message: hate to say it but, unless you paid for a 7/70 warranty you don't have it. i don't think DC offered it until '02. my '00 had a 3/36 bumper to bumper warranty.
