It's set! There is a Ohio Dak Owners meet on Oct 1st '05 at noon to 430p, in Rockbridge Ohio in Hocking County. It's between Lancaster and Logan. There is a Flea market there and FOOD and fish'n and shops. The owner is gonna set a nice grassy area up for us. There will be a raffle and prizes.(make note of your mileage!) If you or any parts store in your area or employer wants to donate a prize for the meet, that would help out a bunch, just let me know. You can bring a grill food chairs if you want. Thanks for the meet. I live about 10 miles from Ohio in Michigan. Actually just got back from Logan. Cousin lives there and we went to Wayne Forest to go 4 wheelin all weekend. I have a Manik black powdercoat brushguard with headlight guards that used to be on my 97 Dak, but doesn't fit my 2002 dak. Anyone interested in buying it? MSRP on it 5 years ago was about $675, I'm thinking $150 OBO. No dents, but has a few rock chips on a few areas. Small touches of discoloration on mounting holes for lights. Has a broken threading in the upper passenger mounting hole, I sold the truck just before bothering to fix it. Anyone at this meet interested? Let me know, I'll bring it on down.

Haven't gotten an exact count yet. It's not to far of a drive from Steel Town, come on down. You just might get the award for "farthest Traveled"! It's starting to look like a good turn out though. I haven't started advertising yet, gonna wait another week or three, then I'll get it in some papers.

I may try to make it. I live in the northern tip of WV, about 3hr drive to get to Rockbridge. But hey, not bad in a Dak considering mine rides like a caddy! (although that might have something to do with the fact that my taco rode like a garden tractor going 70mph down a rocky mountain!)

What is up with the Ohio Dakotas message board? I tried to join about 2 weeks ago and when I log in I still get this-
"Currently your account is waiting for approval from a staff member. Once an administrator has approved your account you will get access to this forum."
I'm hoping to make it to the meet also ,but the way things have been going lately I won't have my body and paint work done by then...

I'm gonna guess it's mine (OhioDakotas.net) since I've had emails from other new members with the same issues...I can never get the error even when I sign up a dummy account.
Scott, if you're referring to my boards...it's supposed to email you an "activation email" I believe and you need to click a link in that email to activate your account. See if you've got that email in your inbox. If not, I think you can go back to the boards and have the activation email resent. If you can't figure it out from there, drop me an email at GB2000@woh.rr.com and I'll use my magic and make things work for you. lol
