 Subject: stalling

I bought a 1998 dakota with some issues v6 3.9
I charged the a/c 134a works fine
disconnected the battery to 0 the errors that made the engine light stay on
when I rev the engine in park with air on it stalls starts right back up
if I do the same with air off no problem
now the engine light is back on
any ideas or input appreciated

Since yours is a V6 = better to post your
problem in the V6 forum..
Anyway - check vacuum connections/hoses.
May be best to go to Autozone or similar - get code read to pinpoint problem..
May be a bad O2 sensor or other sensor !!
If basically nothing = i.e. loose or bad gas cap will kick a code..
You might try the TPS mod..
