OK, so I've searched the archives here and really didn't find anything that I needed.
Can a 97 V6 Instrument cluster work in a V8 truck? I am in need of one for my V8, but all I can find is one for a V6. I know that all the gauges BUT the tach should work the same, but I'm just not sure about the tach.

The Tach should work the same, Its electronic. Operated by the computer that is monitering RPMs.
