 Subject: HELP- 1993 3.9L

I have a good friend who is in bad need of an accelerator cable for his 1993 Dakota, 3.9L auto.
Due to a small engine fire from a rag left over from a oil change it melted the outer caseing.
He is unable to find one at any of the local auto parts or Dodge dealers.
Any help would be appreciated!

I would not have a clue if its the same or not.
I would think they still have them for the '97's at the Dodge dealer, if so, they "should" of cross referenced the number to his '93.
Does anyone know if they are the same for sure?
