I'm looking at putting a 3" body lift on my '99 Dakota Sport with 31's. I want to put on 33's and I'm wondering what all you need to do to body lift it.

Do I need to extend the brake lines?
Any other problems with steering or linkage?
Fan shoud problems?
How long does it take to do the work and how much would you pay a shop to do it?

hey a body lift just lifts the body, the only thing that needs extended is the fuel filler neck and your steering shaft, both of which were included in my brothers lift kit for his 95 chevy, we put it on in little over a 8 hours, if you do it yourself you do need to do some minor welding, overload brackets and all, remember not to weld to the fram but the to the bed. as for someone else to do it, can't help ya there, we had all the tools we needed on site, my buddy has a shop with everything we needed. 3/4" drives and air tools help a lot. well good luck
