Subject: Stearing Knuckle replacment IP: Logged
Message: Hi,I,m replacing the drivers stearing knuckle because my brake caliper holes are stripped.I need to what torqe to tighten the tie rod ends and stuff to.Anyone know that has done this before.Gonna heli coil old one and save it for later sure it will be needed down the road.Thanks Brian

Message: The tie rod ends on a 2000 4x4 should be torqued to 65 ft. lbs.
Lug nuts should be 85-115 ft. lbs.
No idea what the ball joints should be torqued to.
That's the only info I've got on the two pages I copied from the factory manual.
