would a 727 trans bolt up to my 1994 dakota with the 5.2 magnum v8 .if so what other problems would i run into doing this swap

Maybe drive shaft length. Not sure if splines on yolk would fit either. Someone else may remember.
But that is all EASY stuff to have made at a good drive line shop.
Other than that, I bet no problems. A 1994 probably had very little electronics except for the lockup comverter and maybe speedo hook up.
Why you want a 3 speed auto anyway? Drag Racing only?
