I have a 98' 2WD Dakota and I want to purchase new tires. I want low profile tires so that I can get better traction than I get with the crappy tires I have now. I was wondering if anyone has any recomendations on tire size and brand. Thanks

Choosing the right tire can be tough. You need a lot more information than you've supplied. Nothing afects handeling more than tires. So it's important to pick the correct tire for the conditions you'll be driving in, and the use of the truck. For example, if you live in Tuscon, AZ, and drag race your truck, you need a much differant tire than the guy who lives in Fairbanks, AL, and commutes to work year round.
So, in order to get a good recommendation, you should supply the kind of driving you do, your max load, and what your goals are.
Any recommendation you get otherwise should be ignored.
