Well guys, I am sad to say that it looks like I will be trading my Dakota for a Toyota Tundra in about two weeks. I have had it with the quality issues on this truck (Brakes and front suspension) and am tired of taking the truck in for repair every two weeks (since purchase one year ago). I really like the looks and power of this truck, but need a reliable vehicle. I do think that if Dodge increases the quality of these trucks they will be the best rig on the market. I sincerely hope that everybody who has one has better luck than I have.

Why are you sad to get rid of problems?
I'm buying a used Dak instead of a Toyota, because I don't want to pay the used Toyota price.
I've had two Toyotas... you won't regret yours.

Sorry to hear you have had those problems...not looking forward to having any warped brakes on my beast!
I test drove the Tundra. I know you'll miss the V8 power if you're hauling or carrying heavy stuff.

Apparently I've been fortunate. I've had my truck for 16 months, and the worst problem I've had is that I can't drive it 24 hours a day. lol.

Hey Ken...

Doesn't the Tundra have V8 power? That's the Toyata "full sized" truck...

Were you thinking about the "Tacoma" instead? If so...then I understand what you meant by "I know you'll miss the V8 power if you're hauling or carrying heavy stuff."

Anyways...it's all good. I checked out the Toyota options before I bought my Dak... the Tacoma was just "too small" for me and the Tundra was way too pricey (too get what I wanted, I woulda had to get the TRD edition... big bucks!)

At least I got what I consider the "best truck for the money". No problems here yet...and I hope that stays that way.
