Message: I have an 02 quad cab with the 5.9.I'm looking to upgrade the
rear suspension and was looking for someone who might have
replacement heavier springs that i can install.Or would it be
better to just take it to a spring shop?

Seems to be the best way to beef up the rear suspension on the Dak's and it's adjustable. I installed the RAS on my 03 QC and the suspension does not sag as much when I drop a load into the bed. I adjusted the RAS so the truck is level with my 3500# boat on the hitch and 3-400# in the bed, it only raised the rear bumper about an inch. Before I installed the RAS the rear bumper would have been 3-4 inches lower.

He didn't say, so we just have to guess, or keep asking him questions until we get enough info to answer him.

Message: Could be.
The book says:
"The 4x2 rear suspension system uses a 4-leaf two stage or 5-leaf single stage springs and a solid drive axle. The 4x4 rear suspension system uses only a 4-leaf two stage spring and solid drive axle." Couldn't find the spring rates.
But the reason if its a 4X4 or not may make a difference in his available options. 4X4 axle is below the spring pack. 2X4 spring pack is below the axle.
Because of this, putting 2X4 leaf springs in place of the 4X4 leaf springs may result in a bit of lift because of the 2X4 spring's inherently higher spring arch.

Message: as true as that is, a 2X4 is a piece of wood. a 4x2 is a 2WD pickup truck(or car). its not 2 wheels driven by 4, its 4 wheels driven by 2.

Yeah. Let's argue that one for a while.
