 Subject: water pump

Please help. Discovered water leaking from a 3inch pipe that appears to come out of the right side of the water pump and hooks to the heater outlet hose? This pipe is corroded and has a small hole near where the bracket is welded to it that bolts on. I removed the bolt and was able to pull this pipe off the water pump. It has a wee gasket on the end. Now my question is ,,,,is this pipe part of the actual water pump or seperate part or part of the hose assembly?

It's part of the water pump assembly and gets changed with the pump.

My new water pump came with the small gasket (O-Ring), but not with the hard pipe itself.

Its not going to be in with the new pump ..... you need to go to a dealer or a junkyard to get it
