I am having trouble locating my fuel filter on my 97 318. Couldnt find any info on it in the owners manual. Can anyone tell me where the thing is, and also what would be a good one to put back on there?

Yea, the fuel filter is built into the sending unit inside the gas tank... have to drop the gas tank or remove the bed to get to it. Either way will take a bit of work to get to.
I *think* you have to buy a whole new sending unit to replace the filter, but am not 100% sure.
