Message: Our 1992 transfer case fell apart. It was apparently run for a while without oil. So much for have the oil change shops check the oil levels in everything. Since it was run out of oil, I am assuming it would be cheaper to find an used one. What should one of these run and is there anything I need to watch for in purchasing a used transfer case. Thanks in advance.
