Subject: PCV problem? IP: Logged
Message: I noticed that my engine sometimes looses power while going down the hwy and the picks it self right back up(its like some of the cylinders has stoped firing).. Now it dosn't do this while at a complete stop.. Also I've recently had to respray my K&N airfilter... Could this have something to do with it... No I didn't spray the whole bottle....

Message: Well,
I got a suggestion for Suggestion.
Why don't you get in your pinto, find a freeway, go east bound, rev up the engine as high as it can go, then let loose.AS soon as you can get it up to the pintos speed limit then look for a crossing on the west bound lanes and then go head on with a simi truck. And that will solve you constapation problem you been having ever since you met James Lease.
"Now back to the subject"
I think thats what the problem is, Its the Positive case Ventilation or PCV valve. You could do it the old way and let it soak in gasoline for 10 minutes. Then dry it off and install it back in. But could be better of buying a new one.
