I would like to ask if anyone is having problems with Sam from socaldakota.com? I placed an order with Sam a month ago now for my 4.7 70mm throttle body, and it has yet to arrive.
I have been in contact with bruce from F&B and Sam from solcaldakota, but both of them tell me my order is eather on backorder, already shipped, or they do not have it on there books. Sam's wife has been very friendly on the phone, but seems to be unable to help with my problem.
So I am asking if anyone else has ordered a F&B throttle body for Sam in the past month, if so has it arvied yet, and if not what has been told to you about the delay.
Sam is clearly a very nice guy, but seems to be compleatly overloaded with dakota orders at this time. His voice mail has been full for the past day, and his wife seems to be quite busy thoughout her day too (understandably).
If anyone has any information to share, or if Sam or Bruce would like to reply to this thread they can feel free.
I am sorry that it has had to come to me bringing my problem out in the open, but maybe that will get it resolved a little quicker. If Sam or Bruce do not feel comfortable repling on the board they can feel free to e-mail me at my address on this post.

I ordered a F&B 70mm TB though a different vendor last November. I believe the problem is with Bruce at F&B not with Sam. I didn't receive me TB until January and ended up returning it because it was defetive. My advice to you is email Bruce and Sam to cancel your order and get a fastman TB. Bruce is a nice guy but doesnt conduct business very well.

How was it defective? I would rather not go with fastman, enen though I do know me does great work. I really hope it does not come to that. Thanks for the reply though. :(

My idle was very erratic. It would bounce between 400 and 900 RPMS and was very annoying. Bruce offered some ideas to fix it but nothing worked, from reading other posts it sounds like its a common problem. The perfomance in the higher rpms was great but was a little disappointed with the torque loss in the lower rpms, especially since my daks a heavy 4x4.

Well I got some good news.
Bruce at F&B shipped my order, and it will be here tomorow, so say usps's tracking. So YAY at least that is resolved.
Just some warning to future buyers though, Socaldakota.com seems to be a great place to order from, but if you order a F&B be prepared to wait for Bruce at F&B.
