 Subject: 3rd brake question

my 3rd brake light isn't working. not sure how long it's been out but i think it's been since the time i didn't ground my trailer wire correctly, that blew my reverse light fuse, so i don't know if that had anything to do with it or not. i looked for the fuse in the panel but didn't see a listing for it, so is it possible it's on the same one as the brake lights and the bulb is out or is there some where else i should look? thanks in advance for any replys.

If that fuse blew, you wouldn't have brake lights anywhere. Maybe the third eye brake lamp just burned out.

no, no tow package. i bought a trailer wire adapter that just plugs in between the factory brake harness and plugs into the trailer light harness. $26 at walmart. it always blew the reverse light fuse until i got it grounded properly, and now it works fine. i actually have no idea how long the 3rd brake hasn't been working, i just noticed it wednesday night. i looked for a fuse listing but it didn't list one for that specific light. so my guess is that it'd be on the same fuse as the primary brake lights and that maybe just the bulb went. i'm gonna take the cover off and check the bulb first thing in the morning. i'll post back if that's not it. thanks for the help btw.
